TEACHERS!  Please have your students divided into 6 groups total prior to arrival at the station!

We offer three hour programs taught by trained peer teachers taking dual enrollment classes at the station.  A highly qualified teacher facilitates programs.  Teachers can select a theme for their field trip (see registration form). 

 

Most programs include:

 

 Touch Tank exploration.

 Pollution awareness.

Animal interaction.

Beach exploration.

Animal anatomy and behaviors.

Where sand comes from.

What belongs on our beaches.

Human ocean interactions, including the importance of being good ocean stewards.


Other activities such as squid dissection and plankton tows can be incorporated based on your needs and your class level.
